Overview:
I am seeking an In-Home Caregiver. I have short-term memory loss, possibly due to early stages of dementia or Alzheimer's. I am a severe fall risk and require assistance standing, moving, and navigating. You will provide essential assistance to me in the comfort of my home, supporting daily living activities and promoting my well-being.
Duties:
- Assist me with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Escort me to appointments and outings
- Administer medication under supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help
- Basic understanding of personal care routines and household tasks
Details:
- Your base salary will be $480.00 per week.
- You will work 40 hours per week, primarily during a day shift, but may be asked to provide some assistance at night and on weekends at $12.00 per hour for hours beyond the initial 40 per week.
- You will be staying in your own bedroom in my home and your meals will be provided. Room and board will be deducted from your weekly pay at a rate of $250.00 per week.
